What hotel classification system do you use?

What do European Plan (EP) and All-Inclusive (AI) mean? 
Many Mexican and Caribbean resorts and a select number of hotels and resorts in Europe and Asia offer a European Plan and/or an All-Inclusive plan. A European Plan hotel rate does not include any meals or beverages. An All-Inclusive hotel rate includes all meals and beverages. All-Inclusive plans do vary, so please check the specific hotels for details. Similarly, you can find Half-board (breakfast and dinner included) and full-board (breakfast lunch, and dinner included) at select resorts around the world.

How do I make a reservation?

How do I reserve more than one room? 
Currently, up to 8 hotel rooms can be reserved in one booking. If you need more than 4 rooms, they can be reserved by one of our professional travel consultants. If you prefer to purchase your vacation online, you can make separate bookings with up to 8 additional hotel rooms per booking.

How do I make a special room request? 
Requests such as bed type, non-smoking rooms, cribs, and rollaway can be made during the reservation process. For more advanced requests or handicap-accessible rooms, please contact us at 1-888-963-8986 for assistance.

Is it safe to purchase a vacation via the Internet?
Totally and completely. When you sign in to make a reservation, all your transactions are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology and site verifications. How do I modify a reservation?
To modify a reservation, go to the My Reservations section of the website. Enter the lead traveler’s last name and one of the following: booking number, e-mail address, or frequent flyer number. If you are having problems modifying your reservation or need to make changes to items other than those listed, please call us at 1-888-963-8986 for immediate assistance.

How do I cancel a reservation? 
To cancel a reservation, go to My Reservations. Enter the lead traveler’s last name and one of the following: booking number, e-mail address, or frequent flyer number. Click the Cancel button at the bottom of your itinerary. Cancel fees may apply and are outlined in the cancel fee section of your itinerary. If you are having problems please call us at 1-888-963-8986 for immediate assistance.

Where and how do I get my confirmation and travel documents? 
If you have made a reservation online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The confirmation will contain:
– The itinerary and a listing of all items you have purchased.
– The booking number.
– A toll-free number to call if you have any questions regarding your reservation.
E-documents are available for all destinations. Certain options do require paper documents to be mailed or express mailed. If you have selected e-documents as a form of delivery method for a reservation and qualify for e-documents, your documents are e-mailed within 24 – 48 hours of making the reservation.

For options that do not qualify for e-documents and a reservation was made 30 days or more before departure, travel documents will be mailed the next business day via first-class mail for non-negotiable items or express mailed for negotiable items. If you made the reservation within 30 days, documents will be sent via an overnight express mail service and the amount for express delivery will be included in your booking.

What if there is a problem while on vacation?
In your travel documents, you will be provided an emergency telephone number or a separate toll-free number that will connect you to our Destination Help Center. we are here to assist you with any problem that may arise.

What happens if there is a hurricane?
Contact us immediately for assistance. Do not initiate a cancellation on your own without first consulting us for assistance. We will guide you every step of the way including relocating you or rescheduling your vacation if necessary.

How do I reserve my room?

Our reservation process is very simple. Select or enter the desired city, enter the dates of arrival and departure, and enter the number of guests. Click the Search Available Hotels (for only hotels which have vacancies), Search for Vacation Rentals, or the Browse All Hotels (all hotels in a city regardless of vacancy) button. You could also search by a specific hotel name within a city.

  • A list of hotels or vacation rentals will appear on the screen. For more information, click the name of the property or the Info link.
  • After room types and rates are returned to your screen, you will be able to choose the rate you desire by reading the room information in the center of the screen, then clicking on the Book It button on the right side of the screen.
  • After you have selected your desired room type, you will be taken to a “Secure Reservation Request” form. Then you will need to review the “Reservation Information” and fill in the blanks on the “Guest Information” section. Be sure your name and email address are spelled correctly.
  • After you fill out all of the needed information, press the “Submit Reservation” button.
  • If further correspondence is necessary before confirming the reservation, a Customer Care agent will reply to you with an email within 24 hours.

I do not wish to book my hotel stay online. Can you help me?

Yes, we certainly can. Our travel consultants will be delighted to assist you with your hotel reservation. They can also assist you with air reservations, sightseeing tours, and airport transfer; make recommendations for the finest restaurants; what to see and do while you’re at your destination. Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. We take this matter very seriously. To ensure your security, Elite Travel Consulting, Inc. (our parent company) utilizes a secure commerce server, which encrypts the credit card number and encodes it into a non-usable form.

Can I specify where I would like my room located (preferred floor, next to the pool, etc.)?

If special requests are accepted by the lodging, a section will appear on the Reservation Form to insert such requests and submit them to the hotel. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they are subject to availability.

Is the room rate per person or per night?

All rates displayed are nightly and based on double occupancy per room unless otherwise specified. Carefully review the room descriptions and rate rules to ensure the room you select can accommodate your entire party. Any extra adults or children above the rooms listed occupancy may be subject to additional charges at the property’s discretion. Some rates may require special identification. Our booking fees, taxes, and other surcharges imposed by the hotel are not included.

What happens when I make a reservation?

Reservation requests will result in a new screen showing a Booking Number, which should be kept and used with any future correspondence with us. You may also be quoted a Confirmation Number. Additionally, all reservations will be followed up within 2 to 4 hours with an email using the same Booking Number and, if available, a Confirmation Number.

How long will it take to respond to my reservation request?

All reservation requests will result in a new screen showing a booking Number, which should be kept and used with any future correspondence with us. Additionally, all reservations will be followed up with an email within 2 to 4 hours using the same Booking Number with the status of your reservation.

Do I need to contact Elite Travel Consulting.com to confirm my booking?

Most of the time, you don’t need to call us. As soon as the booking process is complete, we’ll send you an e-mail confirming your booking.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including American Express, Discover/Novus, MasterCard, and Visa. Debit cards branded with the Visa or MasterCard logo are also valid forms of payment. If you plan to use a debit card, you may be requested to provide round-trip flight information at the rental counter. Whether you use a credit card or debit card, you must have a minimum of $200 of available credit as a security deposit on the vehicle.

Please Note – some hotels and/or rental partners do not accept prepaid cards.
Don’t worry – your credit card and personal information are safe! Your trust and confidence are our highest priority – that’s why we use Secure Socket Layer Technology to protect your personal and credit card information, so it cannot be read in transit over the Internet. How old do I have to be to book a hotel room through your Web site?

You must be at least 18 years old to book a hotel room through us.

Can I use your Web site to reserve a hotel room for someone else?

You can purchase a room for someone else as long as you are at least 21 years of age and the person for whom you are booking a room is at least 21 years of age and can present the appropriate identification necessary for check-in.

How far in advance can I make my hotel reservation?

You can make a reservation for a hotel room 11 months in advance of your check-in date!

Is there a limit to the number of rooms I can reserve through your Web site?

You can make an offer for up to 8 rooms at a time on our Web site – provided they all have the same check-in and check-out dates. Each room can be reserved under a different name – just list the names in the space provided on our Web site.

Please note – you cannot divide charges between credit cards.
Can I get a same-day hotel reservation on your Web site? Yes! Just make your reservation before 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
Please note – the same-day reservations may not be available in all locations or cities.

Canceling a Reservation:

 What is the cancellation policy on my reservation?

When you are completing the Secure Lodging Reservation Form, the Cancellation Policy will be provided in red or there will be a link to read the cancellation policy. You can also view the property information page to find the cancellation policy. These policies will vary from lodging to lodging, so you must read each one carefully. In general, the standard increments are that you must cancel the room(s) by 4 or 6 PM on the arrival date, or 24, 48, or 72 hours before your specified arrival; however, these are just general guidelines and the specific policy of the property will prevail. If you cancel before the deadline, generally you will not be charged a penalty by the lodging provider. Canceling after the stated period will result in a cancellation penalty fee from the lodging provider. Some reservations are non-refundable and cannot be canceled after booking.

If the cancellation is outside of the time allotted, you may be charged for one night’s stay including tax recovery charges and service fees.
